Built in 1969 by our grandfather, this special place has been a sanctuary for our family for over five decades. It’s where we learned to ski, played cards by the fire, watched sunsets on the deck, and gathered around the table for birthdays, holidays, and late-night storytelling.
In 2024, a passionate family team—Cyndi Sladics, Steve Sladics, their daughter Chanelle Sladics, and Chanelle’s wife, Olympic medalist Kjersti Buaas—came together to lovingly restore this cherished home. With Steve’s craftsmanship, Cyndi’s heart-centered vision, Chanelle’s creative direction, and Kjersti’s Scandinavian design sensibility, we blended our skills and stories to breathe new life into the place that means the most to us.
What began as a deeply personal renovation has grown into something much bigger: a space for others to reconnect, restore, and make lasting memories. Legacy Lodge is now ready to welcome new families, travelers, and wellness seekers into the rhythm of the forest, the quiet joy of stillness, and the warmth of togetherness.
When you stay here, you’re not just renting a home—you’re becoming part of our legacy. Whether you’re here for a retreat, celebration, or simply to slow down, we’re honored to share this space with you.
Welcome to Legacy Lodge.
We can’t wait to see what memories you’ll create.
