We’re the Sladics-Buaas family:

• Cyndi & Steve Sladics – The OG mountain makers and renovation warriors

• Chanelle Sladics – X Games medalist and the engine behind this restoration project. A love for travel, amenities, wellness, and a cozy space to land

• Kjersti Buaas – Olympic snowboard medalist and wellness advocate bringing Nordic magic and inspiring Scandinavian simplicity + sauna vibes

Together, we turned our beloved 1969 family cabin into a soulful spa retreat—preserving its roots while crafting new ways to rest, play, and reconnect.

Resident Vibe Managers: Ryder & Snow

Ryder (the wise water guide) and Snow (the joyful greeter) are our four-legged team members who remind us to chase sticks, nap often, and always appreciate the view. While they don’t join you at the lodge, their spirit of play is woven into the energy of the place. They are the heart of the inspiration for making our cabin fit for the furriest of friends.
